How Many More Must Die?

Hundreds of construction workers rallied outside City Hall for a crackdown on unsafe job sites, with 31 arrested as they lay down in the street in an act of civil disobedience. The number of those busted in middle of Park Row mirrored the number of construction workers killed on the job over the last two years.

It's alarming… In the city, construction-related deaths rose from 17 in 2011 to 25 in 2015, and from 33 to 55 statewide, according to the report by the New York Committee for Occupational Safety & Health. Isn't it time New York started protecting its workers?
