Laborers Pay It Forward This Holiday Season

LIUNA's Cement & Concrete Laborers Host First Ever Toy Drive at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

Training Representatives and Members from Locals 6A, 18A, and 20, along with the Cement & Concrete Laborers' District Council, came together to deliver over three heaping bins of toys and gifts for children seeking treatment at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC).

As the world’s oldest and largest private cancer center, MSKCC has devoted more than 130 years to exceptional patient care. The Laborers are proud to partner with MSKCC and offer joy to the children and families sharing the hardships of this terrible disease.

"When a child is going through treatment, it really affects the entire family. And a lot of times their parents aren't able to go out and shop and provide them with toys. We don't want them to feel left behind or missing out this holiday season," said Angelo Angelone, President of the Cement & Concrete Laborers' District Council.
