Make A Wish Golf Classic A Big Success

The 14th annual Make-A-Wish Golf tournament was held at the Saratoga National Golf Course this summer. Each year local unions, contractors and other vendors gather together to help raise funds for this worthy cause. General Secretary-Treasurer and New England Regional Manager Armand E. Sabitoni and Vice President and Eastern Regional Manager Raymond Pocino were in attendance to help celebrate the day.

Throughout the day those in attendance, saw "because of you, a wish came true" on the pin flags and other signage throughout the venue. This served as a reminder of the significance of this day and of the immediate impact the contributions make.

At the evening reception, everyone enjoyed a "Taste of Rhode Island" as the celebration included many diverse and unique foods that help to define the state, home of the Laborers' New England Region. The funds raised from this event have helped grant many wishes to sick children in New York State.
