Local 78 & Local 79 Participate in East New York Rally

Members of Local 78 and 79 members gathered with members of other building trades’ unions and community organizations at a rally in East New York. The rally was one of a number that have been held in East New York and in other neighborhoods throughout New York City, as part of an ongoing campaign related to Mayor Bill de Blasio’s plans to rezone a number of City neighborhoods. Our members are demanding that the Mayor's rezoning of East NY include quality union jobs & affordable housing for all.
