NYSLOF Joins Locals 190 & 157 to Support the Northeast Energy Direct Project

NYSLOF joined 60 members from Locals 190 and 157 at an open house in Voorheesville, NY to support the Northeast Energy Direct (NED) pipeline project. The open house was held by Kinder Morgan; its subsidiary - Tennessee Gas Pipeline Company, L.L.C. is developing the project by upgrading infrastructure in Pennsylvania, New York, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Connecticut to help meet increased demand for natural gas.

The proposed 129-mile pipeline would go through 28 towns and cities. The project will include the expansion of pipeline capacity in Pennsylvania, New York, New Hampshire, and Connecticut and is proposed to come online in November of 2018.
