Rebuild NY Now Press Conference
Rebuild NY Now along with a coalition of public and private sector officials gathered at City Hall in Albany, NY for an important press conference. This group is working to have the $5 billion in bank settlement funds be put towards infrastructure needs across the state.
The coalition also unveiled a new ad TV and radio ad campaign that highlights the need to repair the state’s infrastructure. This television ad features a photo of the LiUNA school bus (used in the LiUNA campaign promoting infrastructure money around the country) – to drive home the point that our school children are driving on unsafe roadways every day. Much of the press conference at Albany City Hall included themes we have heard before - Bridges are crumbling, roads are falling apart and new projects are needed to alleviate congestion and improve safety.
